Apple’s new SpeechAnalyzer (iOS/macOS 26) is benchmarked against Whisper and legacy SFSpeechRecognizer on LibriSpeech. It cuts WER dramatically versus the old engine and also beats Whisper Small on English while running about 3× faster.
